Kawasaki presents the Eliminator 500, equipped with a liquid-cooled twin cylinder, digital LCD display and other modern features. The design is based on the urban motorcycle lifestyle and meets the requirements of the EU A2 driving license class.

The new cruiser in the line-up

Kawasaki recently unveiled the Eliminator 500, setting a new tone in the 500cc mid-size segment.  This machine, which builds on the tradition of the renowned Eliminator title, features a distinctive design that seamlessly blends into the urban motorcycle lifestyle.  The motorcycle meets the requirements of the EU A2 driving license class and impresses with a slim profile with an elongated, flat shape.

Convincing technical details

The cruiser is powered by a liquid-cooled two-cylinder in-line engine embedded in a distinctive trellis frame – a Kawasaki trademark.  With 45.4 hp (33.4 kW, 45 hp) at 9,000 rpm and maximum torque of 42.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm, the engine ensures that riders get their money’s worth not only in city traffic but also on country roads.  There is also a 400cc version with 48 hp (35 kW, 47 hp) for Asia.

The chassis, inspired by the Ninja 400, offers a combination of lightness and stable construction.  The 1,520 mm wheelbase and precise steering geometry provide agile and natural handling.  The seating position is designed for all-day riding comfort, and with a seat height of 735 mm (there are also options for 765 mm and 715 mm), even riders with shorter legs will find a secure footing.  The Eliminator rolls on an 18-inch front wheel and a distinctive 16-inch rear wheel.

Modern features and safety

The motorcycle also offers a digital LCD display that provides riders with all the information they need.  Full LED lighting increases visibility during the day and night.  For the tech-savvy, there’s also Kawasaki’s Rideology smartphone app for an enhanced riding experience and better communication with the bike.

ABS assists the brakes, with a 310 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc.

Variants and pricing

The Cruiser comes in two versions, the standard version and the SE version.  The SE offers additional features such as a USB-C port, special seat design and a special color and graphic design.
