The MV Agusta Lucky Explorer 5.5 was planned as the compact adventure model of the Lucky Explorer Project unveiled in 2021. The 554cc parallel twin with around 47 hp, KYB suspension and Brembo brakes was to be built together with QJ Motor (technical base Benelli TRK 502). After Pierer Mobility (KTM) took a stake in MV Agusta the project was put on hold and never reached series production; the Lucky Explorer name later gave way to the Enduro Veloce (9.5).
