In honor of 15-time motorcycle world champion Giacomo Agostini, MV Agusta is launching a special edition Superveloce model limited to 311 units.
MV Agusta unveiled the Superveloce AGO at the MotoGP in Misano, and the world champion who gave it its name immediately took it for a demo ride.
From a purely technical point of view, nothing has changed on the special model, but it has been given a new look and upgraded components. The damping components come from Öhlins. It is a NIX upside-down fork, a TTX shock and also a steering damper was installed.
Visual upgrade and modified components
The paintwork was of course inspired by Giacomo Agostini’s world champion machines. The upper part of the motorcycle was designed in red and the side fairing in silver. A yellow rim was added around the headlight and of course the 1 in a likewise yellow oval on the sides must not be missing.
The swingarm, chain guard, inner fender, pillion hump and parts of the front fender were made of carbon. Ago’s signature adorns the tank and there is Agostini lettering on the hump.
Limited to 311 pieces
Included is a racing kit that includes an exhaust system from Arrow, customized engine management, an Alcantara seat and a carbon cover including a leather strap for the fuel cap.
15 of the 311 special models will also have a special marking on the fuel cap. The price is listed at 32,100 euros.
