Induction into the Heroes Level of the KTM Motohall

The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of Acosta’s Moto2 world championship bike from the 2023 season. The exhibit is complemented by a detailed figure of the rider in his original racing gear. This means that the Spanish rider is now a permanent part of the exhibition, standing side by side with 28 other KTM world champions who have shaped the brand’s racing history.

Induction into the Heroes Level is considered a special recognition of sporting achievements within the KTM Motohall. It documents not only title wins, but also the long-term connection between rider, team, and manufacturer.

Review and outlook with Pit Beirer

Pit Beirer, Head of Motorsport at Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, kicked off the evening’s program. In a review of the season, he reflected on the past racing year and gave a cautious outlook on the tasks ahead in the MotoGP season.

Beirer emphasized Acosta’s early development within the KTM junior programs and placed his sporting career in the broader context of KTM’s racing strategy. His statements underscored the Spaniard’s internal importance to the factory team.

Unveiling of the world championship bike and fan meeting

The highlight of the evening was the personal unveiling of the Moto2 world championship bike by Pedro Acosta himself. Afterwards, the current MotoGP rider took time for a meet and greet with fans, media representatives, and invited guests. Autographs, photos, and conversations characterized the open nature of the event.

Aki Ajo, who had accompanied Acosta on his way to the Moto2 World Championship title as team boss and is now also active in MotoGP, was also present. He described milestones in their successful collaboration and emphasized the close sporting connection between rider, team, and KTM.

Personal words from Pedro Acosta

Acosta was visibly moved during his appearance in the Motohall. He looked back on his journey from the Red Bull Rookies Cup to the Moto2 World Championship title and highlighted the role KTM has played in his career so far.

Pedro Acosta said:

“Standing here now with my bike and my figurine in the Heroes Level of the KTM Motohall, surrounded by the renowned KTM heroes, makes me incredibly proud. Whenever I am in Mattighofen, my path will also lead me here to the KTM Museum.”

KTM Motohall as a meeting place for motorsport fans

With this event, KTM Motohall once again underlined its claim to be more than just a classic museum. The combination of exhibitions, live events, and fan offers is intended not only to document motorsport history, but also to bring it to life.

Another component of this concept is the planned public viewings in the RC16 Arena. Almost all MotoGP races of the 2026 season will be broadcast live and free of charge there. The season kicks off with the first race in Thailand on Sunday, March 1, starting at 9 a.m.
