The Thruxton 400 incorporates numerous design elements from the classic café racer era. These include a small front fairing (“bikini fairing”), bar-end mirrors, and the sporty, compact seating position typical of the series. Despite the smaller displacement, the silhouette remains clearly recognizable as a Thruxton. The chassis is based on that of the Speed 400, but with its own accents and features.

Power is transmitted via a six-speed gearbox. The top speed is expected to reach around 160 km/h (around 100 mph). The engine is known for its balanced power delivery, especially on winding country roads and in city traffic.

A launch in Europe has not yet been confirmed, but is considered likely.
