In an official press release, the Belgian-Spanish racing team Marc VDS announced that Alex Marquez will race for them in 2020 as well. Alex Marquez is quoted as saying that he is looking forward to riding for Marc VDS in 2020 as well.

This should end the speculation about the little brother of MotoGP rider Marc Marquez. He can now concentrate fully on his title defense in Moto2. He is currently leading the table with a 43-point gap to Tom Lüthi.
