- TRK 552X in India from 774,000 rupees (approx. 7,280 euros / 8,150 US dollars)
- Same 554 cc parallel twin as in the European TRK 602 X
- TRK 602 X with 56 hp (41 kW), A2 version with 48 hp (35 kW)
Since 22 October 2026, Benelli Keeway dealers in India have been taking orders for the TRK 552X. It replaces the TRK 502X there, a model that became a bestseller, especially in Italy. For riders in Europe, however, the new model is only indirectly relevant. Benelli has planned a separate model for Europe: the TRK 602 X, which celebrated its premiere at EICMA 2025. Both adventure tourers share the same engine but differ in power output, suspension and equipment.

What is the Benelli TRK 552X?
The TRK 552X is the successor to the TRK 502X for Asian markets. Benelli first showed it in China in 2024, and now it is being launched in India.
Benelli has been part of the Chinese Qianjiang group for years, but its models are still designed in Italy. In India, the TRK 552X sits at the top of the brand’s adventure range. As before, Benelli splits the series into two models there. The TRK 552 is the road-oriented version with cast wheels and Pirelli tyres. The TRK 552X is the variant with spoked wheels in 19-inch front and 17-inch rear sizes, fitted with Metzeler tyres for road and gravel.
Compared with the old TRK 502X, a lot has changed technically. Displacement grows by 54 cc to 554 cc, and the swingarm is now made of aluminium instead of steel tubing. This is intended to save weight, which was considered a weak point of the predecessor.
Why is the TRK 552X not coming to Europe?
After its presentation, Benelli initially planned the TRK 552X only for the Chinese market. For Europe, the brand instead developed the TRK 602 X, which replaces both the TRK 502 and the 552 models.
In the model range, the TRK 602 X sits between the previous entry-level TRK and the larger TRK 702. Visually, it takes its cues from the TRK 702 and the TRK 902. The fairing has more flowing lines and fewer sharp edges, the front and rear look slimmer, and the large silencer is painted black. The trellis frame remains clearly visible and is therefore still a typical feature of the series. Technically, the TRK 602 X is closely related to the QJMotor SRT 600 SX, which uses the same powertrain. This makes the TRK 602 X one of the Benelli new models for the 2026 model year.

How do the TRK 552X and TRK 602 X differ?
Both models use the same 554 cc parallel twin, but the European TRK 602 X is tuned for more power and has a fully adjustable shock absorber. The Indian TRK 552X, on the other hand, comes with comfort features as standard that are only available at extra cost in Europe.
Engine and performance
In India, Benelli quotes 52 bhp for the TRK 552X, which is around 53 PS (39 kW) at 8,500 rpm. Maximum torque is 49 Nm (36 lb-ft) at 6,500 rpm. That is 6 bhp and 3 Nm more than the TRK 502X. Power is transmitted through a six-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch. It prevents the rear wheel from hopping during hard downshifts and makes the clutch lighter to operate.
The TRK 602 X produces 56 hp (41 kW) at 8,250 rpm and 54 Nm (40 lb-ft) at 5,500 rpm. The liquid-cooled engine with four valves per cylinder and a 270-degree crankshaft meets the Euro 5+ emissions standard. Bore and stroke are 70.5 and 71 mm, and the compression ratio is 11.5:1. For riders with an A2 licence, a restricted version with 48 hp (35 kW) at 6,500 rpm and 53 Nm (39 lb-ft) is planned.
When the TRK 552X was first presented in China, figures of as much as 61 hp (45 kW) and 55 Nm were mentioned. The same base engine therefore comes with three different power ratings depending on the market. The data known so far does not give any reasons for this.
Chassis and brakes
Both models retain the steel trellis frame and get the new aluminium swingarm. On the Indian TRK 552X, a Marzocchi upside-down fork with 50 mm stanchions works at the front, while at the rear there is a shock on which only the preload can be adjusted.
The TRK 602 X uses a 43 mm upside-down fork with 140 mm of travel. The shock can be adjusted for preload, rebound and compression here, with 173 mm of travel at the rear. On this model, Benelli makes the front frame section and the cockpit bracket from aluminium tubing. Seat height is 825 mm and ground clearance is 218 mm.
The two models are identical when it comes to brakes: at the front, there are two 320 mm discs, and at the rear a single 260 mm disc. The TRK 602 X uses radially mounted four-piston calipers at the front. ABS and traction control can be switched off, and there are Normal and Sport riding modes. With its 20-litre tank full, it weighs 235 kg (518 lbs) according to Benelli, and 218 kg (481 lbs) dry.
Equipment
Both models have a 5-inch colour display. On the TRK 552X for India, the map from the smartphone can be mirrored on it, and there is also Bluetooth, a tyre pressure monitoring system and the option of connecting telemetry devices. Heated grips and a heated seat are standard. The seat itself has been reshaped and given thicker padding. The aluminium handlebar can be adjusted in height and reach, and new hand guards are also standard.
The TRK 602 X connects its display to the smartphone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and offers map navigation in addition to turn-by-turn arrow navigation. A centre stand, a USB port, side crash bars, an aluminium skid plate and hand guards with integrated LED indicators are standard. Heated grips and a heated seat, each with three levels, are only available as accessories, as are aluminium panniers and a top case.
How much does the TRK 552X cost in India?
The TRK 552X costs from 774,000 rupees in India (approx. 7,280 euros / 8,150 US dollars). A Limited Edition in yellow and white is priced at 790,000 rupees (approx. 7,430 euros / 8,320 US dollars).
The road-oriented TRK 552 with cast wheels starts at 722,000 rupees (approx. 6,790 euros / 7,600 US dollars). Both models are therefore 60,000 rupees (approx. 565 euros / 630 US dollars) more expensive than their predecessors. Due to different taxes and duties, the converted figures cannot be directly applied to European prices.

When is the Benelli TRK 602 X coming to Germany?
When the TRK 602 X was presented, German importer MSA announced its arrival for the second half of 2026, probably not before autumn. MSA did not give a price at the time.
Two models from the group serve as a guide. The TRK 502 X cost 6,599 euros (approx. 7,390 US dollars) at the time of the presentation. The QJMotor SRT 600 SX with the same powertrain was already available in Germany for 5,799 euros (approx. 6,490 US dollars). The colour listed so far for the TRK 602 X is white and red.
