Damon Motorcycles has now announced another function that was probably not on the screen.
The electric motorcycle can also serve as an energy store to supply a household with electricity in the event of a power failure. The backup function is called Vehicle-to-Home (V2H). For this purpose, the charger is designed bidirectionally, so that you can charge the motorcycle at the socket, but the power supply can also be powered by the battery. According to Damon, the 21 kWh battery should help to power the most important household functions for up to two days.
Damon Motorcycles is also more than satisfied with Hypersport’s pre-sales figures. They are confident of reaching 1,000 pre-orders by the end of the year. In addition, they now want to enable pre-orders from Europe.
