Technological innovations and accessories
Innovation is a hallmark of the flagship Multistrada, which introduced Riding Modes to the motorcycle world for the first time. The new Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour comes with Travel & Radar setup and is equipped as standard with innovative safety features such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD). It also comes with a tire pressure monitoring system and additional LED lights for better visibility at night or in foggy conditions.
Practical storage space and ease of use
The large-capacity storage space of 60 liters, made possible by the standard side cases, makes it easier to carry luggage on longer trips. The panniers are visually adapted to the design of the motorcycle. The main stand, which is also standard, makes it easier to handle the cases. The Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour also offers amenities such as heated grips and seats for rider and passenger, and a keyless fuel filler cap.
Further developments from the Rally version
This model also carries over several features from the Multistrada V4 Rally, including a fixed handlebar for a more direct riding feel and heat shields in the leg area. A ventilated compartment for the smartphone is also included.
Navigation solutions and suspension systems
Navigation is based on a phone mirroring solution that turns the 6.5-inch TFT dashboard into a color navigation display. The Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) system adjusts damping characteristics to the riding situation in real time and integrates the autolevelling function for the first time.
Easy maintenance and comprehensive support
With maintenance intervals for valve clearance checks every 60,000 km and a 4-year warranty program with unlimited mileage in Europe, this motorcycle sets new standards in reliability. In addition, a roadside assistance program is available that includes transportation and overnight accommodations at a four-star hotel should any problems arise while riding.
A look under the hood
The 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine produces 170 hp (125 kW, 168 hp) at 10,500 rpm and 125 Nm of torque at 8,750 rpm. It weighs just 66.7 kg, the equivalent of 147 pounds.
Electronic helpers
In addition to the systems already mentioned, the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour comes with a number of other electronic assistants. These include Cornering ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Traction Control and Vehicle Hold Control, all controlled by the Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU).
Customization options
Ducati offers a wide range of accessories and seat options to further customize the Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour. These range from different seat heights to windshields and more luggage solutions.
Matching clothing
For the perfect touring experience, Ducati has developed special suits suitable for all weather conditions. Examples include the Atacama C2 suit and the Strada C5 suit.
