The limited edition Ace Pro 2 in polar white combines a minimalist, elegant design with Leica’s proven imaging technology. According to Max Richter, VP of Marketing and co-founder of Insta360, the new edition is intended to reflect the urban storyteller’s attitude to life – combined with the professional image quality for which the company is known.
Leica technology for 8K recording
Technically, the Polar White Edition remains on par with the standard model. The Leica SUMMARIT lens, combined with 8K video resolution and AI-powered imaging tools, delivers high-quality results straight out of the camera. Users also have access to camera-internal Leica color profiles, which are designed to create a cinematic and authentic image effect.
This color technology is considered a key feature of the Ace Pro 2 and underscores its claim to deliver professional results on the go without the need for extensive post-processing.
Expansion of the accessory portfolio
Along with the new color variant, Insta360 is also launching several accessories that expand the camera’s creative possibilities:
Flip touchscreen cover: This can be attached directly to the screen and allows for use at hip height – similar to classic cameras. Ideal for discreet or unusual shooting angles.
Black Mist filter: The filter creates a softer light and provides a cinematic look with a warm, romantic image effect – especially for portraits.
Mini battery grip: The grip combines battery extension and tripod function in a compact format, allowing for longer recording times and more flexible camera positioning.
Mic Air compatibility: Weighing only 7.9 g, the new wireless microphone transmitter can be paired directly with the camera. It offers 48 kHz audio quality with active noise reduction – particularly relevant for vlogs, interviews, and travel videos.
According to the manufacturer, these additions are designed to complement users’ creative toolkits and create new opportunities for exceptional shots.
Presentation at IFA 2025
At IFA 2025, Insta360 and Leica once again emphasized their partnership. The goal of the collaboration remains to combine high-class optics with user-friendly design to simplify content creation and make it more professional. The focus is on camera systems that deliver high-quality results without time-consuming post-processing.
Availability and price
The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Polar White Limited Edition will be available worldwide—except in the US—from September 8, 2025. The starting price is €529.99 (approx. $565). As this is a limited edition, it will only be available for a limited time.
