Suzuki presents new GSX-8R in Street Fighter 6 design for Capcom Cup 11

On the occasion of Capcom Cup 11, an international e-sports tournament, Suzuki has unveiled a special version of its GSX-8R themed after the Street Fighter 6 video game. The motorcycle was presented for the first time at Capcom Cup 11, which takes place in Japan from March 5 to 9, 2025. Suzuki is not only the manufacturer of the show bike, but is also the official sponsor of the tournament.

Inspired by Street Fighter character Juri Han

The model bears the official name “GSX-8R Tuned by JURI” and is stylistically inspired by the Street Fighter character Juri Han, who has played a central role since his introduction in Street Fighter IV. The GSX-8R is designed with an eye-catching combination of black and purple, complemented by characteristic spider graphics. A special detail is the graphic representation of the Feng Shui motif that characterizes Juri Han’s left eye.

Exclusive experience for visitors to Capcom Cup 11

Visitors to Capcom Cup 11 will have the opportunity to see the GSX-8R live at the Suzuki stand and take photos. In addition, there will be limited edition Suzuki x Street Fighter 6 collaboration products available to visitors free of charge, but only while stocks last. These exclusive fan items are not for sale and will only be available during the event.

Further presentations at Japanese motorcycle shows

If you don’t manage to marvel at the GSX-8R at the Capcom Cup 11, you will have another chance in spring 2025. Suzuki will also be presenting the motorcycle at the major Japanese motorcycle shows in Osaka, Tokyo and Nagoya.
