- Price: 95,320 rupees (around 868 euros / 1,001 US dollars), ex-showroom Delhi and excluding registration costs
- New Spectral Green paint finish that shifts from green to brown
- Engine, gearbox and equipment remain identical to the rest of the Super Squad Edition
Special editions with a movie tie-in have long been routine in India’s 125cc segment. TVS Motor has been pushing the idea since 2023 through a collaboration that has produced four Marvel-themed motorcycles so far. A fifth arrived at the end of July 2026, and this time the manufacturer switches sides for the first time: after Iron Man, Black Panther, Deadpool and Wolverine, it is now a villain, Doctor Doom, who takes centre stage. The new version was unveiled on 31 July 2026 in Bengaluru.

How did TVS unveil the Doctor Doom Edition?
TVS did not show the motorcycle at a trade fair or in a studio, but in the cinema. In selected Indian movie theatres the announcement ran directly after the post-credits scene of the film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. According to the manufacturer, this picks up a Marvel tradition that has kept audiences in their seats until the end of the credits for more than a decade. For the viewers it came as a surprise, because a motorcycle premiere is not normally part of the cinema programme.
What sets the Doctor Doom Edition apart visually from the other Raider models?
The most striking difference is the paint finish called Spectral Green. It consists of several colour layers and appears green or brownish depending on the light and the viewing angle. TVS refers to this process as Multi Tone Travel Finish. Effect paints of this kind are rare in this price class, because they involve more work in the paint shop than a single-colour coating.
On top of that come graphics inspired by the metallic armour and the dark green cloak of the comic book character. The front fairing, the fairing panels on the tank and the side and rear sections are picked out in green. Blacked-out components provide the contrast. The basic shape of the bodywork remains unchanged, so the Doctor Doom Edition only sets itself apart from the other variants through colour and decor.

What technology is inside the TVS Raider Doctor Doom Edition?
Mechanically nothing changes. The familiar single-cylinder engine with 124.8 cubic centimetres of displacement, three valves and air and oil cooling continues to do the work. TVS quotes output as 11.4 bhp, that is in British horsepower. Converted, that comes to around 11.6 PS (8.5 kW). Maximum torque is 11.7 Nm (8.6 lb-ft). Power reaches the rear wheel through a five-speed gearbox.
The engine is therefore identical to that of the rest of the Super Squad Edition. Anyone buying a special edition from this range is paying for the looks, not for extra performance.
What equipment does the Raider 125 Super Squad Edition offer?
The Doctor Doom Edition takes over the complete equipment of the model range. That includes an LCD display in inverse presentation, with bright digits on a dark background. It can be paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth and, according to the manufacturer, offers more than 85 connected functions. Headlight and tail light use LED technology.
Also on board is the iGO Assist system. It is intended to improve throttle response under acceleration and make riding in city traffic easier. Wider tyres are meant to provide more safety on the road. The top equipment level comes with a double disc brake and an ABS that only regulates at the front wheel. TVS therefore describes the Raider as one of the safest motorcycles in its class, an assessment that comes from the manufacturer itself.

What does the Doctor Doom Edition cost and when is it available?
The price is 95,320 rupees, converted around 868 euros (1,001 US dollars). This is the so-called ex-showroom price for Delhi, which does not yet include taxes for registration and insurance. Actual costs are higher depending on the state.
The new version therefore costs exactly as much as the other Marvel variants. The Raider 125 without Super Squad decor starts at 85,887 rupees, converted about 782 euros (902 US dollars). The surcharge for the movie look is therefore around 9,400 rupees, converted just under 86 euros. According to TVS, deliveries will run over the coming weeks through the authorised dealers in India.
Where does the Doctor Doom Edition fit into the Marvel line-up?
The collaboration began in 2023 with the Iron Man and Black Panther versions, which according to TVS were the first series-production motorcycles with Marvel design in India. Deadpool and Wolverine followed in 2025. The Doctor Doom Edition is therefore the third expansion within three years.
Commercially the concept appears to be working. Alongside the Raider 125, the Super Squad portfolio also includes the NTorq scooter and, according to media reports, has passed the mark of 500,000 units sold since launch. For the German market the Raider 125 remains irrelevant, but the pattern is transferable: special editions with licensed looks are one of the few ways to keep a technically established entry-level motorcycle in the conversation without expensive development work. According to its own figures, TVS is active in 90 countries, operates four plants in India and Indonesia and also owns the traditional British brand Norton Motorcycles.
