The Indian motorcycle manufacturer TVS, to which Norton now also belongs, has secured the name Raider. What they intend to do with it is not yet known, but the rumor mill is bubbling with rumors.
Rumors say that the Raider could be a new, small dual sport bike. Since small adventure bikes are extremely popular in India at the moment, this step would make sense, as it would be a good way to stand up to a Royal Enfield Himalayan or BMW G 310 GS.
The basis for this could be the Apache RTR 200 4V Streetfighter. It could be equipped with spoked wheels and coarser tires, and thus easily converted for off-road driving. But so far there are no announcements, why all this has to be considered a rumor.
