Aprilia doesn’t just consider the high-volume market when it comes to sport bikes. They first showed that with the RS 660. Now they’ve unveiled a new GPR250R.
Entry-level bike with a sporty look
The Aprilia GPR250R was shown at the Xi`an Auto Expo in China. The entry-level sportbike features some cosmetic changes that better fit the current sport lineup. The aggressive styling is reminiscent of its bigger sisters, the RS 660 and RSV4. The LED headlight has also been designed accordingly.
The 250cc single-cylinder engine produces 27.8 PS and 21.5 Nm. Power is transmitted through a six-speed transmission. Besides, it is equipped with a full-color TFT display, 41mm upside-down fork, preload adjustable strut, 300mm front disc brake and ABS. The seat height is 815mm. The 17 inch wheels are fitted with 100/80 and 130/70 tires.
Whether the motorcycle will also go on sale worldwide is currently still unclear.
