BRABUS is primarily known as a tuner of Mercedes-Benz and other luxury vehicles. Most recently, the company based in Bottrop, Germany, had already brought an exclusive version of the Super Duke to market in collaboration with KTM. Now comes the next step into the two-wheeled world, this time heading toward electric mobility. Together with DAB Motors, a manufacturer founded in France in 2018, BRABUS is presenting three electrically powered motorcycles at Milano Design Week 2026. The premiere takes place from April 20 to 26 in Milan’s Tortona district, specifically at the Opificio 31 venue.
DAB Motors as the Technical Foundation
Since its founding, DAB Motors has positioned itself as a specialist for electric motorcycles, focusing on lightweight construction, design and precision manufacturing. The company was acquired in 2023 by Peugeot Motocycles, which at the time still belonged to the German investment fund Mutares. Peugeot Motocycles has since returned to French ownership through a management buyout. Despite sharing the same name and logo, the motorcycle company now has no connection to the Stellantis automotive group or the Peugeot car brand.
All three BRABUS models are built on the DAB 1a platform. The base DAB 1 is available from 9,990 euros, while the DAB 1a starts at 14,900 euros. The BRABUS versions build on this platform, adding premium materials, exclusive design elements and, in some cases, increased powertrain performance.

DAB 1a BRABUS: The Entry-Level Model from 20,111 Euros
The entry-level model of the partnership focuses on a visual upgrade of the base motorcycle. The DAB 1a BRABUS features an all-black finish complemented by various exposed carbon fiber components. These include the side intakes, inserts in the engine cover, the chin spoiler and the front fender. Glossy black side panels and matte black wheel covers with subtle gray pinstripes create different surface textures. The rider’s seat is upholstered in Alcantara with gray stitching accents.
In terms of performance, the DAB 1a BRABUS remains at the level of the base model. The electric motor delivers 8 kW of continuous power and reaches a peak output of 31 hp (23 kW). Maximum torque stands at 395 Nm. The 72-volt lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 7.1 kWh and is claimed to provide a range of up to 150 kilometers in urban traffic. Under the WMTC cycle, range is rated at 120 kilometers. Top speed is 120 km/h. A carbon belt provides low-maintenance power transfer to the rear wheel.
Charging is done via a standard 220-volt household outlet. Charging from 50 to 100 percent takes approximately 90 minutes, while going from 20 to 100 percent requires about three hours. A full charge from zero to full takes three and a half to four hours. A matching charging cable is included with all three models.

BRABUS URBAN E: More Power, More Equipment
The BRABUS URBAN E goes beyond a purely cosmetic upgrade. Engineers from both companies have also worked on the powertrain. A specially programmed motor mapping optimizes throttle response, and a dedicated inverter allows higher current flow under load for stronger power delivery. The result is a gain of approximately 20 percent over the base version: peak output rises to 37 hp (27 kW), while maximum torque reaches 475 Nm. Custom-made carbon air ducts on both sides are designed to ensure adequate cooling of the electric motor even during sustained high-temperature operation.
Visually, the URBAN E follows the signature BRABUS design concept with glossy black surfaces and red accents. In addition to the carbon elements found on the DAB 1a BRABUS, a rear wing, wheel arch covers and exposed carbon covers for both wheel sides are added. Tires measure 120/70 R 17 at the front and 150/60 R 17 at the rear.
A distinctive design feature is the so-called tank-seat cover in monocoque style. Integrated scoops on the sides house air intakes and vertical daytime running lights. The black front mask features an illuminated BRABUS logo in an exposed carbon fiber surround and accommodates the 220-volt charging port on its rear side. Below it sits a projector headlight with lens optics. At the rear, a translucent monoblock LED taillight completes the design. A flip-open storage compartment in front of the rider’s seat provides space for the charging cable.
The supermoto-style handlebar features controls with integrated turn signals. Levers and brake fluid reservoirs are CNC-machined aluminum parts. The BRABUS Masterpiece rider’s seat is upholstered in red leather with a quilted pattern in the so-called shell design.
Five Riding Modes and Brembo Brakes
Five riding modes are available: Eco, Street, Sport, Nitrous and Reverse. In Eco mode, top speed is limited to 60 km/h and the torque curve is flattened, which is intended to help both in low-traction conditions and to reduce energy consumption. Street mode is the default setting for urban traffic with a linear torque characteristic. Sport mode unleashes full power. The Nitrous level functions as a short-term overboost that overrides the selected riding mode with maximum phase current for up to ten seconds. Reverse mode uses electronic phase reversal with reduced torque for precise maneuvering.
The front suspension consists of a 46-millimeter upside-down fork with adjustable damping and 100 millimeters of travel. At the rear, a CNC-machined, multi-adjustable shock absorber provides 100 millimeters of travel as well.
A Brembo braking system handles deceleration. At the front, a four-piston radial caliper clamps a floating 320-millimeter disc. The rear wheel features a single-piston caliper with a 240-millimeter disc. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard equipment.
The keyless start system operates via PIN code entry. A 2.8-inch LCD display shows speed, battery status, charging progress and system temperature. A BRABUS startup animation plays when the system is switched on.
The BRABUS URBAN E is priced at 27,251 euros (approximately $31,066) including VAT in Germany. An optional SUPERBLACK version in all-over glossy black paint with a color-matched leather seat is also available.
BRABUS URBAN E FIRST EDITION: 40 Units in Four Colors
For the sales launch, the two partners are releasing a strictly limited collector’s edition. The BRABUS URBAN E FIRST EDITION is technically based on the URBAN E but offers four special paint finishes inspired by the world of BRABUS supercars: Peetch, Desert Sand, Superviolet and Fusion Red. Each color variant is limited to ten units, bringing the total production to 40 motorcycles.
The color concept extends consistently throughout the entire vehicle, including painted frame and body panels. The Superviolet variant additionally features exposed carbon fiber body elements. The BRABUS Masterpiece rider’s seat receives leather in the respective color scheme.

Availability and Warranty
All three models will initially be sold in European Union member states, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and selected non-European markets that recognize EU type approval. Availability in additional regions depends on local registration and import regulations. All models come with a two-year warranty.
