- Insta360 GO 3S as a special edition with helmet-integrated accessories for 349 euros
- Marc Márquez as brand ambassador on the gift box packaging
- 4K resolution at 39 grams of camera weight with up to 140 minutes of recording time
The tiny action camera Insta360 GO 3S has made a name for itself in recent months, particularly in one area: the so-called in-helmet perspective, meaning footage captured directly from inside a motorcycle helmet. What previously required a setup of individual components is now packaged by Insta360 into a ready-made bundle. The GO 3S In-Helmet Motorcycle POV Bundle combines the camera with a specially developed helmet mount and additional accessories tailored for motorcycle use.
Seven-time MotoGP World Champion Marc Márquez is featured on the packaging of the special edition, and he reportedly uses the system regularly himself. “This bundle makes it easy to get the in-helmet POV perspective I love. It offers a clean, immersive way to share rides exactly as they feel on the bike,” says Márquez.

What’s Included in the Bundle
The package includes the Insta360 GO 3S in black with 128 GB of storage, a magnet pendant, a magnetic Easy Clip, a pivot mount, the newly developed in-helmet POV mount, and a microphone wind guard. The helmet mount and wind guard are the two components that set the bundle apart from the standard GO 3S. Everything comes in a black-and-red gift box that, according to Insta360, is inspired by racetrack aesthetics.
The in-helmet POV mount is inserted into the gap of the helmet liner and features an adjustable angle at its base, allowing it to adapt to different helmet structures. The camera is then magnetically attached to the mount. Insta360 recommends mounting the GO 3S with the lens facing downward in the lower area of the helmet to avoid obstructing the rider’s view.
39-Gram Camera with 4K Resolution
The GO 3S itself weighs 39 grams and is roughly the size of a thumb. Despite its compact dimensions, it records video in 4K resolution at 30 frames per second. MegaView and ActionView are available as field-of-view options, with ActionView offering the maximum possible field of view.
FlowState stabilization ensures smooth footage despite vibrations and bumps during the ride. Additionally, a 360-degree horizon lock keeps the recording aligned with the horizon regardless of camera movement. Both features can be activated via the camera menu.
Battery and Action Pod
The camera alone offers a recording time of approximately 38 minutes. In combination with the included Action Pod, which doubles as a remote control and charging station, up to 140 minutes are said to be possible. The Action Pod features a 2.2-inch flip touchscreen that allows users to view a live preview and change settings without having to remove the camera from the helmet.

Sound and Wind Noise
One of the advantages of the in-helmet position is natural shielding from wind. The GO 3S features two built-in microphones that, in combination with the included microphone wind guard, are designed to reduce wind noise. According to the manufacturer, engine and ambient sounds are captured more clearly than with an external mount. Additionally, a wind noise reduction feature can be activated in the camera settings.
Software Features for Motorcyclists
Beyond the hardware, Insta360 offers several functions through its companion app that are particularly relevant for motorcycle content.
Motion ND
A digital ND effect can be applied retroactively to footage in the Insta360 app. It creates motion blur intended to enhance the sensation of speed without requiring a physical ND filter.
Data Dashboard
The app allows speed, distance traveled, and elevation data to be overlaid onto videos. Data can either be recorded directly via the integrated GPS stats assistant or imported from external sources such as Garmin, COROS, and Apple Watch.
AI-Powered Editing
According to the manufacturer, the Insta360 app automatically identifies highlights in the footage, adds music, and creates a finished video that can be shared directly.
