For Black Toro Capital (investment company / owner of GasGas) and KTM, this deal makes sense and is extremely promising. KTM wants to expand its range of electric motorcycles and e-bikes, and will sell the GasGas offering through the KTM and Husqvarna dealer network.

GasGas thus receives a cash injection and a larger distribution of its own products.

Since KTM is already the largest brand in the off-road sector, the European regulatory authority still has to agree to the deal, because this would give KTM a kind of monopoly position.
