A photo, that is said to have been taken by Aprilia’s Chinese Zongshen plant, could show an upcoming Aprilia Terra 250 that is already ready for the market.
Larger Terra for the Asian market
The 125 and 150 Terra has been on the Chinese market since 2016. So far, there has not been a 250 model. If the picture is real, the Terra 250 should get the 249.2cc liquid-cooled single cylinder (DOHC) of the GPR 250.
The spoke wheels use 17 inches at the rear and 18 inches at the front, which are fitted with knobby tires. Obviously, the fork should allow a long travel and there is also enough ground clearance for off-road driving.
Not yet confirmed
The Aprilia Terra 250 has not yet been officially confirmed. An introduction to India is suspected, as the market for small adventure bikes is growing rapidly there. There it will compete with the KTM 250 Adventure.
