Triumph presented today the third model in the triple range. The new R version gets the evil eyes of the sisters and its a little cheaper.
The Street Triple R comes in new colors, with a quick shifter including bliipper function (for shifting up and down without clutch) and with the new headlight including integrated daytime running lights, which look like grim eyebrows. The Brembo M4.32 calipers are also new.
Revised engine, same performance
The 765 cc three-cylinder engine, now homologated to Euro5, has been revised and delivers 118 hp and 77 Nm. There are no change the pure performance data. The flywheel mass was reduced somewhat and the engine was set for higher speeds. The gearbox, airbox and exhaust system hade also been revised to comply with Euro5 standards.
The seat height is 825 mm and can be reduced by 45 mm by lowering it in combination with a modified seat. The suspension is still fully adjustable.
The price has decreased. The new Street Triple R will be available from dealers from April 2020 at a price of € 9,450 plus € 450 additional costs (Germany).
