Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette has unveiled Violette A.I., a voice-controlled AI assistant designed to simplify the operation of its models. The system was presented at CES 2026 in Las Vegas in collaboration with SoundHound AI.

Ultraviolette continues to drive forward the digital connectivity of its electric motorcycles. Following its market entry in Europe and the presentation of new vehicle concepts, the manufacturer is now focusing more strongly on artificial intelligence to improve human-machine interaction. The new Violette A.I. voice assistant is designed to simplify operation while riding and make it safer.

AI voice control for the Ultraviolette F77

Violette A.I. was unveiled at the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The system was developed in collaboration with SoundHound AI, a California-based technology company specializing in voice and music recognition. The assistant is fully integrated into the Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle.

Using a predefined activation word, the rider can control various functions via voice command. These include changing riding modes, starting navigation, and accessing information from the user manual. Recommended tire pressures, service information, and step-by-step instructions can also be accessed via voice command.

Functions beyond classic voice commands

In addition to basic operating functions, Ultraviolette demonstrated other assistance functions of Violette A.I. at the trade fair. These include pre-ride checks, the display of riding statistics, proactive warnings, and service notifications. All information can be accessed without manual input.

The manufacturer sees this as an advantage in terms of comfort and safety, as the rider can concentrate on the traffic and is not distracted by navigating menus on the display. It remains to be seen whether and how reliably voice control will work in real riding conditions with ambient noise.

Voice assistant as part of a connected ecosystem

Communication between the rider and the motorcycle takes place via a helmet with an integrated audio system. This serves as an interface for voice commands and acoustic feedback. A specific date for the market launch of Violette A.I. has not yet been announced.

Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and co-founder of Ultraviolette, puts the development into a strategic context:

“At Ultraviolette, we believe AI is going to play a pivotal role in enhancing rider safety. As a technology-first company in the mobility space, our mission has always been to redefine the riding experience by fusing cutting-edge engineering with intelligent systems.”

Presentation at CES 2026

Violette A.I. was unveiled at the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show. The trade fair is regarded as an international platform for new technologies and serves as a stage for innovations for manufacturers from a wide range of industries. Ultraviolette is using this setting to position itself as a technology-driven provider in the field of electric two-wheelers.

What does this mean for me as a motorcyclist?

For motorcyclists, an AI-supported voice assistant such as Violette A.I. primarily means a change in the way the vehicle is operated. Key functions such as driving modes, navigation, and access to service information can be controlled without manual input, which is intended to simplify interaction while riding. At the same time, some of the attention is shifting from displays and switches to voice control. Whether this actually results in improved safety or comfort depends largely on the reliability of voice recognition in real driving conditions, the quality of the audio connection in the helmet, and the sensible limitation of the functions that can be accessed while riding. In the long term, the system shows the direction in which connected motorcycles could develop: away from classic menu operation and toward context-sensitive, voice-based assistance solutions.
