The investigation surprisingly led to the Parisian suburb of Aubervilliers. Here, Abdoulaye N., also known in the scene as “Doudou Cross Bitume,” came under the scrutiny of the authorities. He is not only known in his neighborhood for his spectacular wheelies and his proximity to the asphalt, but also as a local legend among young motorcyclists.
His motto, “Toujours plus près du bitume” (“Always closer to the asphalt”), became an inspiration for many. He was a fixture in the community, teaching children to ride motorcycles, helping older neighbors, and was considered a respected figure in Aubervilliers.
