Market NoteOfficial (September 2026): Kawasaki has officially unveiled the Ninja H2 for model year 2027 – it returns to Europe, where it has been unavailable since 2021 because of Euro 5. Manufacturer figures: 209 hp (154 kW) with ram air at 11,000 rpm and 135 Nm at 8,500 rpm, Euro 5+, 238 kg wet. German prices: Ninja H2 32,500 euro ex works or 33,050 euro including delivery; Ninja H2 Carbon 35,800 / 36,350 euro; Ninja H2R 58,000 / 58,550 euro. Austrian prices: 35,999 euro (H2) and 39,999 euro (H2 Carbon). German market launch: Ninja H2 from April 2027, Ninja H2 Carbon already from October 2026, Ninja H2R in spring 2027 by order only. Single colour: Mirror Coated Spark Black. DATA NOTE: the output figures previously stored in this entry (197 hp at 10,500 rpm, 137 Nm) came from EPA/CARB type-approval filings for the US market and differ from the now official European manufacturer figures. Earlier status (type approval/speculation, superseded): EPA and CARB certified the Ninja H2 and H2 Carbon for model year 2027 (US type designations ZXT02W and ZXT02X, previously ZXT02J). Certified peak output drops from 228 hp to 197 hp (145 kW) at 10,500 rpm as the H2 adopts the engine and emissions specification of the Z H2 SE including its second catalytic converter. Manufacturer figure for the then-current H2: 240 hp. 2026 US MSRP: H2 32,700 USD, H2 Carbon 36,200 USD. Kawasaki had previously published a twelve-second teaser video on its European social media channels showing no image of the bike – only supercharger noise and the line 'Return To Beyond Belief'.
