Market NoteProduction version of the 820 ADV concept shown at EICMA 2025. Type approval documents confirm 819cc, 85 kW (116 hp), 220 kph and a 1,575 mm wheelbase (concept: 1,532 mm). Weight is 218 kg in the simplest homologated specification including crash bars and auxiliary lights, rising to 235 kg with the aluminium panniers and top box; whether this is a dry or kerb figure is not stated. A Chinese price of around 6,100 euros (approx. 7,070 US dollars) has been reported but is not officially confirmed and excludes import duties and European taxes; no European price list exists. Torque, seat height, compression ratio and the electronics package (adaptive cruise control, radar-based distance control, electronically adjustable suspension, automated clutch, front and rear cameras, TFT display, tyre pressure monitoring, quickshifter) are so far confirmed for the concept only. Traction control and lean-sensitive ABS remain unverified. Sales start in 2027, with a showing at CIMA in China and a world premiere at EICMA in November 2026.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths

  • Rare triple with 116 hp derived from the 820RR supersport, long wheelbase on par with the Africa Twin, substantial aluminium bash plate, factory-homologated luggage system, very aggressive Chinese pricing

Weaknesses

  • China-only at launch, no EU price or dealer network, 218 kg is comparatively heavy, production electronics and seat height still unconfirmed, very young brand with no long-term track record
