The 2019 and 2020 Kawasaki ZX-10R is being recalled due to a programming error that can cause misfires.
The error can occur when using the Quickshifter. When changing gears, this can lead to misfiring, which can damage the air intake valves and, in the worst case, could ignite a fire.
Affected are the models Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, Ninja ZX-10R ABS and Ninja ZX-10R ABS KRT Edition, – all of the years of construction 2019 and 2020.
The ECU is reprogrammed in the workshop and any damaged components are replaced.
