Is there a Yamaha XSR-300 comming?

The motorcycle market for smaller capacity is now served really well. Rumors now speak of a Yamaha XRS-300 coming in October.

It is said that Yamaha transplanted the engine of the YZF-R3 / MT-03 into the frame of the XSR700. This would save high development costs and create a motorcycle that addresses the current retro trend, but also serves the small displacement segment.

The XSR-300 is to be released on the Asian market first, followed by a worldwide launch.
