Ducati enters the MXGP stage: Tony Cairoli and the Desmo450 MX make their debut in the Netherlands

First race in the Netherlands: A decisive step in Ducati’s off-road adventure

The debut race will take place on August 17 and 18, 2024 at the race track in Arnhem, Netherlands. This race is not only a test for the Desmo450 MX, but also an important step in the preparation for full participation in the MXGP World Championship in 2025. The participation in the Netherlands should provide valuable insights for the further development of the motorcycle and prove its performance under competitive conditions.

Continuation of the development program: Italian MX Championship as the next stop

After the Dutch Grand Prix, Ducati will continue the development program of the Desmo450 MX on 31 August and 1 September 2024 in Castiglione del Lago. The fifth round of the Italian championship is scheduled to take place there, with Alessandro Lupino leading the overall standings. Lupino’s outstanding performance in the last race of the Italian MX Championship in Ponte a Egola put him in the lead. Tony Cairoli, who returned to racing after a break, won the first race there, adding to the Ducati team’s excellent tally.
