Hero is adding another version to the Xtreme 125R range. Since 6 November 2026, the Stealth Edition has been available at dealers in India, and it takes its place at the top of the line-up. It combines its own paint scheme with two features that no other Xtreme 125R offers: a colour TFT display and tyre pressure monitoring. The second one in particular is rare on small motorcycles. Hero calls it a first among sporty 125s.

What is new on the Hero Xtreme 125R Stealth Edition?
The Stealth Edition is the only Xtreme 125R to get a 4.2-inch colour display and tyre pressure monitoring. The TFT replaces the simpler digital instrument fitted to the other variants.
The display is not new to the group. The same unit is already used in the Xtreme 160R, the Xtreme 250R Carbon and the Xpulse 210. A smartphone can be paired via Bluetooth through Hero’s own app. The screen then shows turn-by-turn navigation, notifies the rider of calls and text messages and allows music control.
The tyre pressure monitoring shows the current pressures of both tyres directly on the display. If a tyre loses air quickly, the system sounds an alarm.
How can you recognise the Stealth Edition?
The top version is painted in Midnight Black with Pearl Red accents. The wheels, pillion grab rails, tank shrouds and the X in the logo are also red. The shape of the Xtreme 125R is unchanged, but the dark colour scheme makes the bike look sportier.
What technology does the Xtreme 125R use?
Technically, the Stealth Edition is identical to the other variants. The air-cooled 124.7 cc single-cylinder produces 11.4 hp (8.4 kW) at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm (7.7 lb-ft) at 6,500 rpm. Power reaches the rear wheel through a five-speed gearbox.
Ride-by-wire throttle with three riding modes (Rain, Road and Sport), cruise control and dual-channel ABS remain on board. A 37 mm telescopic fork guides the front wheel, while a monoshock works at the rear. The 17-inch wheels have disc brakes front and rear, and the lighting is full LED.

How much does the Hero Xtreme 125R Stealth Edition cost?
In India, the Stealth Edition costs 116,250 rupees (approx. US$1,240 / €1,110) ex-showroom, i.e. without registration and insurance. Compared with the dual-channel ABS variant, the extra cost is 6,700 rupees (approx. US$71 / €64).
The range now comprises five versions:
- Stealth Edition: 116,250 rupees (approx. US$1,240 / €1,110)
- Dual-channel ABS: 109,550 rupees (approx. US$1,165 / €1,045)
- ABS with single seat: 96,700 rupees (approx. US$1,030 / €920)
- ABS: 96,700 rupees (approx. US$1,030 / €920)
- Combined braking system (CBS): 91,500 rupees (approx. US$975 / €875)
On the Indian market, the Xtreme 125R competes with the TVS Raider, among others, which costs between 84,460 and 103,000 rupees (approx. US$900 to US$1,095 / €805 to €980). At 115,000 rupees (approx. US$1,225 / €1,095), the Honda CB125 Hornet is almost on par with the Stealth Edition. The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is also one of its rivals.
With the new version, Hero aims to make connected technology and safety features affordable for more customers. Whether the Stealth Edition will also come to Europe, where Hero began sales in Italy in autumn 2025, has not yet been announced by the manufacturer.
