Kawasaki is bringing a big fuel-injected two-stroke, a KLE500 with an automatic pull-away clutch and a four-legged hydrogen-powered vehicle to EICMA 2026 in Milan. German prices and delivery dates are already set for several of these new models.

For the 2027 model year, Ducati is launching the Monster as the all-black Dark, with the same 111 hp V-twin as the standard version. The savings are not made on the engine or electronics, but on a few comfort details and on the price.

For many manufacturers, EICMA 2026 in Milan is the stage for the 2027 model year. Some have announced fixed unveiling dates, while for others only spy shots and homologation papers point to a premiere so far.

Husqvarna returns to Milan together with KTM and brings the Norden 901 in a new colour. The brand is keeping its actual off-road innovations under wraps until the press conference on November 3.

Zhang Xue has covered a distance of 40.74 kilometres on open water with a modified ZXMoto MX450, setting a Guinness World Record. The ZXMoto founder went almost nine kilometres further than the previous record holder, closing a chapter that ended in the water after 20 metres in 2009.

A good two years after its premiere in Milan, the KTM 1390 Super Duke GT is about to go on sale. At the same time, ahead of EICMA 2026, KTM is showing what changes for 2027 on the Super Duke R, the small Adventure models and the singles.

Kawasaki is giving the KLE 500 a bigger sibling with 70 hp, and it is clearly focused on long tours rather than off-road sport. Even the base version comes with cruise control and traction control, while the SE adds a quickshifter, a colour TFT display and tubeless spoked wheels, among other things.

Ultraviolette has launched the X-47 Venom in India, the first motorcycle on the new 100-volt VX-100 platform. Compared with the X-47 Crossover, it is lighter, goes further and, despite lower wheel torque, sprints to 100 km/h 2.2 seconds faster.

Triumph has significantly reworked the Tiger 1200 for 2027: all four variants now run a 19-inch front wheel, Bosch radar and suspension that lowers itself at a standstill. The triple makes 8 hp more, and prices in Germany start at 21,395 euros.

Zontes is testing a new streetfighter in China, and design images from the manufacturer now show its finished form. The triple of the machine, provisionally called ZT903-R, no longer has anything in common with the brand’s familiar 699 cc engine.

Many major new models for 2027 were presented online before EICMA 2026, and some specs will only come after the show. Only a few manufacturers have explicitly announced something new, including KTM after a year’s break and CFMoto.

Royal Enfield is bringing the anniversary Classic to market for the brand’s 125th birthday, priced at 8,090 euros in Germany. Only 125 units are planned for all of Europe, with sales through dealers starting on October 29, 2026.

Aprilia is saying goodbye to Phillip Island, where MotoGP races for the last time this weekend, with a numbered special edition of the RS 660. The technology is unchanged; the difference lies in the livery, a victory plaque and the equipment.

At Jerez, Honda sent the next generation of the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade onto the track for the first time, hidden under a camouflage livery. The race bike features Ducati-inspired aerodynamics and is expected to form the basis of a new homologation model.

Yamaha brings the MT-125 visually into line with the larger Hyper Naked models MT-07 and MT-09. Under the new bodywork, the familiar technology carries over, and the price in Germany is 5,949 euros.

At EICMA 2026 in Milan, LiveWire is showing electric two-wheelers ranging from a children’s balance bike to an electric enduro, including two world premieres for 2027. The Dust Hightail appears under the LiveWire name for the first time and is also set to go on sale in 2027.

Honda sends the CBR600RR into the 2027 model year with brake calipers and ABS from the Fireblade. There is also a redesigned front end, a larger display and no fewer than three HRC race kits for the track.

Honda is bringing the CBR500R Four to Europe for the 2027 model year, placing a four-cylinder sports bike alongside the familiar twin-cylinder CBR500R. The E-Clutch comes as standard, and there is also a factory version for the A2 licence.

Kawasaki has filed a new model called the KLE 650 (SE) for approval in Australia. This means the KLE 500, which only returned in 2026, is apparently getting a bigger sibling that would slot in between the entry-level adventure bike and the Versys 650.

Yamaha sends the XSR900 GP into the 2027 model year with the new Legend Blue livery. It recalls Christian Sarron and his Sonauto Yamaha, on which the Frenchman became world champion in 1984.
