Voge is part of China’s Loncin Group, one of the largest motorcycle and engine manufacturers in the country, which has also been supplying major international brands for years. Since its founding in 2018, Voge has positioned itself as a standalone premium brand with the goal of expanding beyond China’s borders. The R125S is the latest model in its European lineup and is aimed squarely at beginners, A1 license holders and anyone looking for a compact naked bike with modern equipment. The model was first presented to the public at EICMA 2025 in Milan.
Engine and Drivetrain of the Voge R125S
Beneath the angular bodywork sits a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with 124.8 cc displacement and four-valve technology. Valve timing is handled by a double overhead camshaft (DOHC), and the compression ratio is 12:1. Voge rates the power output at 11 kW, which translates to roughly 15 PS (14.7 bhp) at 9,500 rpm. Peak torque is 12 Nm at 8,000 rpm. Fueling is managed by electronic fuel injection (EFI), and the exhaust system is Euro 6 certified. A six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch handles shifting duties, providing added control during aggressive downshifts. Final drive is by chain.
Two riding modes are available, allowing the rider to adjust throttle response. This remains unusual in the 125 cc class and makes it possible to tailor the engine’s character to different riding situations. As for fuel consumption, the official Voge UK website quotes a figure of up to 2.6 liters per 100 kilometers (approximately 108 mpg). Combined with the 15-liter tank, this yields a theoretical range of up to 500 kilometers, though real-world figures will naturally vary. CO2 emissions are listed at 59 g/km.
Chassis and Brakes
The R125S is built around a new steel trellis frame paired with a steel banana swingarm, beneath which a compact exhaust is tucked away. Up front, a 35 mm upside-down fork handles suspension duties, while the rear features a mono shock with adjustable preload. The braking system consists of a single 300 mm disc with an axially mounted twin-piston caliper at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear. Dual-channel ABS comes standard.
The cast aluminum wheels feature a multi-spoke design and are fitted with wave-style brake discs, which help reduce unsprung mass. Tire dimensions are 110/70-R17 at the front and 150/60-R17 at the rear. Compared to the sister model R125, the R125S wears a wider rear tire, which should provide a larger contact patch and more stable handling. Both tires are tubeless.

Electronics and Features
The R125S boasts an unusually extensive equipment list for a 125 cc motorcycle. In addition to the ABS and two riding modes already mentioned, a switchable traction control system (TCS) is included as standard. This safety feature remains a rarity in the 125 cc class and is designed to provide additional confidence on wet or slippery road surfaces.
The cockpit features a color LCD display with a negative layout (white characters on a black background), which Voge says remains easy to read in all lighting conditions. Bluetooth smartphone connectivity is built in, and turn-by-turn navigation is also integrated. On top of that, a forward-facing 1080p dashcam is permanently built into the front fairing. It does not make the motorcycle any faster, but it does provide continuous ride documentation — useful both for safety purposes and everyday content creation.
The lighting is entirely LED. The front turn signals are integrated into the side panels, creating a clean look and, according to Voge, improving visibility to other road users. An emergency stop signal and a USB port round out the package.
Dimensions, Weight and Ergonomics
The R125S measures 2,020 mm in overall length, 770 mm in width (795 mm according to the Spanish Motorbike Magazine source) and 1,100 mm in height, making it slightly larger than the base R125 model. The wheelbase is 1,375 mm, and ground clearance stands at 150 mm. Voge lists the curb weight at 141 kg (approximately 311 lbs), though the Spanish source quotes 140 kg. The seat height is 790 mm, placing it in a range that should remain accessible to shorter riders.
The split seat accommodates both rider and pillion. According to Voge, taller riders in particular benefit from the increased dimensions compared to the R125, as the riding position is said to be more spacious and natural.

Pricing and Competition
In the United Kingdom, the Voge R125S is available from 2,999 GBP (approximately 3,464 euros / 4,060 US dollars), plus on-the-road charges (OTR). In Spain, pricing starts at 2,888 euros (approximately 3,385 US dollars), while the Spanish Motorbike Magazine source also quotes a price of 3,088 euros including a five-year warranty. RideApart lists an approximate European price of 2,999 euros (approximately 3,515 US dollars).
A look at the competition makes clear just how aggressively Voge has priced the R125S. In the UK market, a Yamaha MT-125 costs around 5,300 GBP (approximately 6,122 euros / 7,177 US dollars), a Honda CB125R sits at 4,799 GBP (approximately 5,543 euros / 6,498 US dollars) and a Kawasaki Z125 at 4,299 GBP (approximately 4,965 euros / 5,821 US dollars). The picture is similar on the European mainland: the KTM 125 Duke is listed at 5,299 euros (approximately 6,213 US dollars), the Aprilia Tuono 125 at 5,350 euros (approximately 6,273 US dollars) and the Yamaha MT-125 at 5,499 euros (approximately 6,448 US dollars). Closer in price are models such as the Suzuki GSX-S125 (3,999 euros / approximately 4,689 US dollars) or the CFMOTO 125NK (3,395 euros / approximately 3,981 US dollars).
The R125S thus delivers features like traction control, an integrated dashcam and Bluetooth connectivity at a price that in many cases amounts to roughly half of what Japanese or European competitors charge.
Design and Color Options
The R125S features an aggressive, sporty design with sharp lines and a striking full-LED headlight. The headlight includes a dynamic start-up animation. In the UK market, only one color variant is initially available: black with yellow accents. For the European mainland market, the Spanish source Motorbike Magazine lists two color options: matte black and matte red.
